Welcome to Seeds of Life Nursery & Landscaping. We offer a variety of services including landscape design, installation and maintenance, seeding and erosion control for commercial projects. We are committed to providing our clients with high quality products and services.

We have an experienced staff and very well equipped. We have a fleet of (4) trucks with trailers, dump truck, (4) mini-loaders, two track loaders, and two tractors. We have been in business since 1998 and have the knowledge and experience to complete your project on time, and on budget in a high quality manner.

Blake Gipson

Blake founded Seeds of Life in 1998. He has been a Nebraska Certified nurseryman since 1994 and has been in horticulture since 1979; he specializes in native landscapes and prairie restoration. He owned and operated Gipper Landscape & Maintenance in Houston, TX from 1981-1992 where he was full-service landscape, irrigation, design, installation and maintenance. He was licensed with the State of Texas in irrigation. Blake and wife Julie moved to Lincoln in 1992 to be close to Julie’s family and raise sons Jacob and Levi. . Blake is from Houston, Texas; Julie is from Tecumseh, Nebraska. Pictured with Blake are wife Julie and grandson Luke.

Bryan Poppe

Bryan has been a landscape designer for over 25 years in the Lincoln area and has been with Seeds of Life since 2013.  He has experience with both residential and commercial landscaping.  Bryan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture – Landscape Design option from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  He is also a Certified Nebraska Nurseryman and a Certified Arborist by the City of Lincoln.  He and his wife Victoria live on an acreage in southwest Otoe County.

Josh Mammen

Josh has been with Seeds of Life since 2010. He has an associate degree in Horticulture from Southeast Community College and a bachelor's degree in Horticulture from UNL. He has very good skills in landscape installation and maintenance, and he assists with landscape design and consultation. Josh is from Plymouth, Nebraska.
