Residential Landscape Services

Seeds of Life is a full-service landscape company. 

Landscape Design:

We have landscape designers on staff that will create 

the perfect plan for your dream landscape.  They will

provide you with information on all of the plants and

materials used in your project and provide you with an

estimate.  The designers at Seeds of Life can help you

create phases for your project so it better fits your budget.

Landscape Installation: 

Once you have found a perfect plan for your landscape,

Seeds of Life will bring that plan to life.  Our experienced

installation crew memebers, along with the help of the

designers, will make sure that your landscape looks even

better than you imagined. We can install retaining walls,

patios, water features, berms, and we do some work with 

landscape lighting and irrigation.

Landscape Maintenance:

Whether it is a landscape we installed or an existing landscape,

Seeds of Life can provide you with seasonal landscape maintenance. 

We can do one time maintenance projects or develop a quarterly

or monthly maintenance program tailored to fit your needs.  It is

amazing to see how much pruning trees and shrubs, cutting back

perennials, and adding a fresh layer of mulch can improve the look

of a landscape and a home. 

Seeding: 

We have years of experience in native prairiegrass 

and wildflower seeding.  Prairie or wildflower meadows are 

a great addition to any acreage and can be used successfully

in residential neighborhoods.  It reduces the amount of area 

that must be intensely managed by weeding or mowing.  It

also adds a natural feel to the landscape and fits well in the

mid-west. There are many seeding options and we can

customize your seed mix to the site or to your vision. 

Lawn Seeding:

We provide lawn seeding and overseeding services.  If you

are installing a new lawn, seeding is a cost effective way to

do so.  There are a few great options for lawn seeding.  We

recommend RTF fescue from Todd Valley Farms or Defiance

XRE fescue from Stock Seed Farms .  Another grass type

would be buffalograss which is very low maintenace and

takes little water or mowing to look great. 

Overseeding:

Overseeding is a great option. It allows you to

seed into an existing lawn.  Overseeding a struggling bluegrass

lawn with fescue is a common practice.  It is a nice way

to update your lawn without having to tear it out and start over. 

Organic Lawn Care: 

Seeds of Life offers an organic lawn care program from Bradfield

Organics .  We use alfalfa and corn based products to rebuild the

health of your lawn from the soil up.  By providing this natural

nutrients, the soil is a better place for lawn to thrive. The healthier

lawn will then be able to outcompete weeds and resist pest damage. 

It is also safe for children and pets. 

Drainage Solutions: 

We have the skills and materials necessary to solve your water

and drainage issues.  We want to keep water out of your

basements and off of your sidewalks.  By routing water

away from your foundation and under your sidewalks, we can

make your issues disappear and improve the value of your home

and landscape.  Let us know if you have a drainage issue so we

can help you find a solution. 

Bulk Materials: 

We carry mulch, topsoil, and compost.  We also have a

selection of river rock depending on the time of year and

availability.  We can load up your truck or trailer and we

also offer delivery services within the Lincoln area.  Call
